During our Christmas in July I wanted to share all these wonderful projects from Christmas’s Past that were done by our Design Team member Shirley @ Scrappy Sam Designs.
Ice Skating Bears in the Ice Skate
What I always love about Shirley’s projects is the imagination that goes into her designs. The patterns seem to be the jumping off point for her and then her imagination kicks in like in her Ice Skating Bears. Ice Skating Bears Christmas in July Snowglobe Ornaments
She often uses a combination of files to create something new like the snowglobe ornaments where she used
The Birdhouse Trio and the Snowman Winter Welcome.
Ice Skating Bear Snowflake card
Adding one of the Ice Skating bears to the front of the Gentle Snowflake shape card gave her a very wintery and unique Christmas card. Frosty’s Top Hat
With Frosty’s Top Hat she saw the possiblity to turn “Uncle Sam’s Hat Box” from the 4th of July into a wintery hat box. Gingerbread Babies
Shirley added The Gingerbread Babies Digis to some of the more basic card shapes like those from the Easel Card Collection. Snowman Box This stacking snowman box even had me curious at first glance to see what combination of files Shirley used. She resized the box found in the Creepy Crawlers Trio and the face from the Snowman’s Friend Easel Card and applied it to the front of the box and also used that card for this next design…. Snowman Easel Match Box
